Civmec Construction & Engineering is seeking an experienced Project Engineer for the BHP Bucket Wheel Reclaimer Upgrade project, undertaking critical work at a leading mining operation. This casual, onsite role in Port Hedland offers consistent work, strong support, and a team that values your contribution. Upon successful completion, there is an opportunity to transition to another major project.

The Role

• Manage engineering and construction activities for project works.
• Coordinate stakeholders, resources, and project delivery outcomes.
• Drive performance in safety, quality, schedule, and budget.
• Support successful project execution from planning through to completion.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Tertiary qualifications in Structural, Mechanical, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management.
• Minimum of 3 years in a similar role.
• Previous experience working on construction sites, ideally within the mining or oil & gas sectors.
• Previous experience in the construction of mining process plants.
• BHP experience is desirable.
• Defence force experience is desirable, and veterans are encouraged to apply.
