EPCI Project Manager - Engineering, Construction, Tech Projects

CADwalk provides technology-driven critical room solutions for diverse sectors including energy, resources, infrastructure, emergency services, transport, defence, and space. As our industry presence expands and we enter new markets, CADwalk continually creates new roles and opportunities. We are seeking an experienced EPCI Project Manager to join our Control Room team.
Position Overview
Based at our Perth headquarters, located near the International Airport, you will report to the General Manager of CADwalk Critical Rooms. Your role will involve managing a varied portfolio of technical projects. You will apply strong project management discipline to oversee multiple concurrent projects that draw from a shared resource pool. This is primarily an office-based position at our headquarters, with travel anticipated to be under 15%. You will collaborate with the PMO and contribute to process improvement as the business grows.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead control room projects for corporate clients, ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery.
- Serve as a primary client contact and cultivate strong working relationships.
- Coordinate with the design team, workshop crew, KVM/AV team, and PMO to achieve project outputs.
- Ensure all CADwalk team members adhere to expected HSEQ standards.
- Identify and resolve project risks, issues, and roadblocks.
- Support centralised resource planning management within our project systems and tools.
- Develop project plans, timelines, and progress tracking using Microsoft Project or similar tools.
- Prepare project documentation, including SWMS, Programs of Works, ITPs, and Factory/Site Acceptance Tests.
- Forecast and report on project financials, and coordinate milestone- and contract-based invoicing.
- Provide engineering and technical input for control room design and deployment.
- Drive improvement initiatives across project and business processes.
About You
- Possess strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Exhibit a hands-on, problem-solving mindset.
- Demonstrate proven experience in one of the following: EPCI project delivery, engineering, construction management, or IT/OT/networks design & implementation, with a curiosity and willingness to learn the others.
- A tertiary qualification in a relevant field is preferred, such as Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, IT/Networks or similar), Project Management, or Technology.
- Have 3+ years of project management experience managing multiple concurrent projects that share a common resource pool, ideally within engineering, construction, manufacturing, or IT.
- Proficient in Microsoft Project and other project management tools.
