Responsibilities:
- Advise individuals with high net worth, families, and business owners on intricate tax matters, encompassing restructures, capital gains tax, Division 7A, and trust losses.
- Provide thorough tax compliance, planning, and advisory services for varied client portfolios, which include trusts, companies, partnerships, and individuals.
- Deliver family advisory services, such as succession and estate planning, to assist clients in preserving and transitioning wealth.
- Engage with the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) concerning the Top 500 and Next 5000 programs, ensuring compliance and proactively resolving issues.
Requirements:
- Substantial tax technical expertise in private wealth and family office structures.
- Demonstrated experience in managing significant client portfolios and cultivating trusted relationships.
- Leadership capacity to mentor and develop junior team members, contributing to the expansion of a Private Tax specialist team.
- Proficiency in communication and stakeholder management, including interactions with regulatory bodies such as the ATO.
