- Takes ownership and accountability for customer outcomes and service delivery.
- Solves problems effectively through strong technical capability and attention to detail.
- Is confident in building customer relationships and identifying opportunities to grow existing and new accounts.

The Role
This is a hands-on, customer-facing Field Service Engineer position supporting high-speed manufacturing and production environments across Victoria. As one of the initial technical representatives in the region, you will play a critical role in establishing LETO Technology's Victorian service operation. Beyond delivering premium technical support, you will help develop long-term customer relationships, onboard new accounts, and identify opportunities to grow our service presence. You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and preventing issues across critical production equipment where reliability, uptime, and customer confidence are paramount. Comprehensive product training will be provided, but this opportunity is best suited to an experienced engineer who can quickly apply their existing expertise while continuing to develop across our product portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, commission, service, and maintain Continuous Inkjet (CIJ), Thermal Inkjet (TIJ), Thermal Transfer Overprinting (TTO), Laser, Large Character (LCM), and Label Print & Apply (LPA) systems.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, software, and communication faults across a wide range of industrial equipment.
- Deliver high-quality first-time fix outcomes while maintaining excellent customer service.
- Perform preventative, predictive, and reactive maintenance to maximise equipment reliability and minimise production downtime.
- Support new customer onboarding, including equipment audits, asset documentation, preventative maintenance planning, and operator training.
- Build strong customer relationships and identify opportunities to expand service, consumable, spare parts, and equipment offerings.
- Provide operator and maintenance training to improve equipment performance and customer self-sufficiency.
- Accurately complete service documentation, asset records, quotations, recommendations, and parts usage through our Service CRM.
- Maintain vehicle stock, specialised tooling, and spare parts to ensure a high level of field readiness.
- Collaborate closely with the national service, projects, and sales teams to deliver exceptional customer outcomes.
- Contribute to the continued growth of LETO Technology's Victorian customer base while helping establish the foundations of a future service team.
- Achieve key performance indicators across safety, utilisation, customer satisfaction, technical quality, documentation, and commercial performance.
This role includes regular travel throughout Victoria, periodic interstate travel for training and customer support, participation in a rotating on-call roster, and occasional weekend work to meet customer production requirements. For the right candidate, this position offers a genuine pathway into a VIC Service Supervisor role.
