The Role We are recruiting a full-time Field Service Engineer to be based in our Brisbane, Qld facility. This position involves direct, on-site technical service for a variety of laboratory and scientific instruments, encompassing installation, routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and customer assistance. The role requires occasional travel within Australia and internationally for factory training.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical service and support to clients.
• Diagnose and execute repairs with efficiency and accuracy.
• Install and commission new equipment at customer sites.
• Cultivate customer relationships and contribute to service agreement discussions.
• Maintain detailed records of all service visits and performed actions.

Candidate Profile To excel in this position, you will possess:

• A qualification in mechanical or electrical/electronic engineering.
• Experience in servicing scientific or laboratory equipment.
• Proficient fault-finding and problem-solving capabilities.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• A customer-centric approach and a high degree of self-motivation.
• Familiarity with service reporting systems.

Essential Requirements

• Australian residency and unrestricted work rights.
• A current Australian driver’s licence.
• A willingness to undertake domestic and international travel for factory training.
