AGL is seeking a Finance Analyst for its Gas Generation business. This full-time, hybrid role is based in Sydney, NSW.

About the Role The Finance Analyst will partner with the Integrated Energy function to manage all financial and management accounting requirements for the Gas Generation businesses. This role involves close collaboration with business teams, providing financial analysis and advice on current operations and future developments.
Key Accountabilities:
- Prepare monthly financial reports, including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cashflow, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Provide monthly performance analysis with clear commentary on key drivers and maintain up-to-date forecasts with the business.
- Maintain financial systems, including S4HANA and BPC, to support accurate reporting of Gas Generation assets.
- Liaise with Group Finance to ensure all statutory and regulatory requirements are met on time and in compliance.
What You'll Bring:
- Experience as a Management Accountant within a commercial environment.
- A degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting. CA/CPA is preferred.
- The ability to deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
- Strong organisational skills and the capacity to manage competing priorities.
- Experience with ERP systems; SAP is preferred.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive, accountable, and team-oriented approach.
