We are seeking a Finance Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis, working 25 hours per week. This role is suitable for individuals looking to return to the workforce or seeking a flexible position that offers greater balance. Reporting to the Finance Administrator, you will provide support across accounts receivable, reconciliations, and general finance administration to ensure the efficient operation of the Finance department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the accounts receivable process, including invoicing, payment allocation, and following up on outstanding balances.
• Provide timely and professional support for finance-related queries.
• Support accounts payable activities, ensuring accurate and efficient processing of supplier invoices and payments.
• Reconcile employee expenses and company credit cards, maintaining accurate and compliant financial records.
• Assist with month-end activities to meet reporting deadlines and keep financial information current.
• Contribute to the smooth running of the finance function through general administration, process improvements, and ad hoc projects.

Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience in a similar role within an accounts or finance department, with a focus on Accounts Receivable.
• Strong numerical and data entry skills, with attention to detail.
• Experience in a multi-entity and multi-currency business is ideal but not essential.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience using accounting software, particularly Xero.
• Excellent customer service skills.
