Charterhouse Partnership is collaborating with a growing commercial manufacturing organisation to recruit a Manufacturing Finance Business Partner.

This is a practical, commercial finance position dedicated to supporting operational performance across production and supply chain. A significant emphasis is placed on costing, analysis, and decision support. The role is ideal for a finance professional who prefers collaborating closely with operational teams over traditional back-office functions.

You will function as a genuine business partner, assisting leaders in comprehending performance drivers, enhancing cost efficiency, and making improved data-driven decisions as the organisation expands.

Key Responsibilities:

• Product costing
• Variance and margin analysis
• Inventory accounting
• Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes
• Developing reporting tools and dashboards
• Improving financial models
• Contributing to system and process enhancements within ERP environments
• Working across functions to support continuous improvement initiatives and operational efficiency

A core aspect of this role involves engaging with non-finance stakeholders, translating complex data into clear insights, and influencing decisions across manufacturing and leadership teams.

Requirements:

• Strong analytical capability
• Commercial acumen
• Proactive mindset
• Experience in manufacturing or operational finance is important, particularly with exposure to costing, inventory, and performance analysis.
• Strong ERP skills and experience with Power BI or similar tools will be highly regarded.
• A degree in finance or a related field is expected.
• CPA, CIMA, CA (or nearing completion) is expected.
• Experience within manufacturing is essential, as you will act as the Finance SME across the organisation.
• Ability to engage confidently with non-finance stakeholders.
• Willingness to undertake ad-hoc interstate travel to visit manufacturing sites and understand processes.
