Sharp & Carter Finance & Accounting WS is partnering with a well-established organisation in the essential infrastructure sector to recruit a high-calibre Finance Business Partner. This organisation is integral to supporting extensive operations and long-term asset investment across various locations.

This is a commercially oriented position requiring close collaboration with senior stakeholders. Your focus will be on providing insights to enhance performance, optimise asset utilisation, and facilitate informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver punctual performance reports, identifying significant trends and operational drivers.
• Analyse financial and non-financial data to inform decisions for site-based operations.
• Collaborate with operational teams to boost efficiency and maximise asset performance.
• Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes.
• Develop financial models supporting investment, pricing, and strategic initiatives.
• Identify avenues to streamline reporting and improve data visibility.
• Undertake ad hoc analysis to assist leadership and ongoing projects.

About You

• CA/CPA qualified, or nearing completion.
• Possess strong analytical capabilities with experience in dynamic, operational settings.
• Exhibit a commercial mindset and an interest in understanding performance drivers within asset-intensive businesses.
• Demonstrate advanced Excel proficiency, with exposure to BI tools being advantageous.
• Possess confident stakeholder engagement skills across finance and operations.
• Be proactive, adaptable, and comfortable operating within evolving environments.
