Robert Half is seeking a Finance Manager (APAC) for a full-time, onsite position in Cannington. This role offers a salary of $160k - $175k per annum plus superannuation.

This is a hands-on position for an experienced Finance Manager - APAC. You will be responsible for leading the financial operations of the Australian entity while also supporting an expanding international business. Reporting to the Financial Controller, this role is suited to a technically proficient finance professional with a background in financial reporting, manufacturing, inventory, and project accounting. You will be instrumental in supporting business performance, upholding robust controls, and developing scalable finance processes to facilitate ongoing growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Management of month-end close procedures and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Support for budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning.
• Oversight of manufacturing cost accounting, including standard costing and variance analysis.
• Management of inventory accounting across multiple locations, including stocktakes and reconciliations.
• Monitoring of project/job costing, profitability, and associated reporting.
• Support for intercompany transactions, foreign currency matters, and specific international finance activities.
• Maintenance of strong financial controls and support for audit, tax, and statutory compliance.
• Collaboration with operations, manufacturing, procurement, and sales teams to deliver financial insights.
• Driving process improvements, reporting enhancements, and ERP optimisation.

About You:

You are a proactive, hands-on finance leader comfortable operating in a fast-paced, growing environment.

To be successful, you will possess:

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• A CPA or equivalent qualification is preferred.
• 10+ years of accounting experience, including senior finance responsibilities.
• Strong experience within a manufacturing environment.
• A solid understanding of standard costing, inventory accounting, and project/job costing.
• Experience in preparing financial statements and managing month-end processes.
• Experience with ERP systems.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience working within an international or multi-entity business will be highly regarded.
