We are seeking a Finance Manager to oversee financial accounting and reporting for our trade division. Reporting to the GM Commercial – Trade, you will be crucial in maintaining robust financial governance, delivering precise reporting, and collaborating with the Commercial team to foster performance and expansion. This is a significant leadership position offering the chance to influence business decisions within a dynamic, multi-site setting.
What You Will Do:
- Lead all accounting functions for the Trade segment, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strong financial controls.
- Execute a timely and accurate month-end close process that aligns with Group reporting requirements.
- Maintain balance sheet integrity, including reconciliations and risk management.
- Prepare and present monthly reporting packs, incorporating P&L analysis and regional performance insights.
- Partner with Regional Managers and the Commercial team to evaluate performance and support decision-making.
- Provide support for budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Ensure accurate inputs for tax reporting (GST & FBT) and assist with audits and statutory reporting obligations.
- Drive process improvements, system optimisation, and efficiency enhancements across finance operations.
Qualifications:
- CA/CPA qualification with a relevant degree.
- Over 5 years of experience in financial or management accounting.
- Demonstrated leadership experience.
- Proficiency in analytical skills, systems, and Excel.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and commercially astute.
