Finance Manager - FenceWright
FenceWright is seeking an experienced and commercially minded Finance Manager to lead its finance function in Western Australia. This part-time, onsite position is based in Malaga.
This role offers a senior opportunity with flexibility and autonomy, allowing for strategic contribution to a growing business. The Finance Manager will oversee daily financial operations, support leadership with reporting, compliance, and commercial insight.
FenceWright specialises in delivering commercial and industrial fencing solutions across Western Australia, servicing major infrastructure, mining, and government projects.
Reporting to senior leadership, the Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing the financial performance, compliance, and reporting functions. This is a hands-on role suitable for an individual capable of working both strategically and operationally, in consultation with team members.
The position is offered on a 4-day work week, providing greater flexibility while maintaining a senior leadership portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll oversight, and reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly management reports, financial statements, and cash flow forecasting.
- Monitor budgets, project financial performance, and business profitability.
- Manage end-of-month and end-of-year financial processes.
- Ensure compliance with taxation, payroll, superannuation, and statutory obligations.
- Liaise with external accountants, auditors, insurers, and financial institutions.
- Support business decision-making through financial analysis and commercial reporting.
- Review and improve financial systems, controls, and internal processes.
- Assist with strategic planning, forecasting, and business growth initiatives.

- Proven experience in a Finance Manager or senior finance leadership role.
- Strong financial and commercial acumen.
- Experience managing end-to-end finance functions in a fast-paced business.
- Sound knowledge of Australian taxation, payroll, compliance, and reporting requirements.
- High attention to detail with strong analytical capability.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and partner with operational leaders.
- Experience in construction, manufacturing, or project-based industries will be highly regarded.
