Finance Manager InfraBuild Laverton full-time, onsite Competitive salary

Reporting to the Commercial Finance Manager Manufacturing and based at the Laverton site, you will be a key partner to the Manufacturing Lead Team. Your responsibilities will include providing financial leadership across budgeting, forecasting, investment analysis, and governance. Your insights will be instrumental in shaping business decisions, identifying growth opportunities, and holding teams accountable for performance outcomes. You will also be involved in strategic planning, performance reviews, risk management, and continuous improvement initiatives that align financial and operational goals.
What you will be doing:
- Leading the development and execution of strategic financial and operational plans.
- Delivering accurate and insightful financial reporting, forecasting, and commercial analysis.
- Providing challenge and guidance to business units to optimise performance and shareholder value.
- Driving rigorous capital investment planning and portfolio review processes.
- Maintaining strong governance, financial control, and compliance practices.
- Coaching and developing finance team members and promoting cross-functional collaboration.
- Supporting integrated value chain and procurement initiatives alongside key business partners.
- Monitoring competitor and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
Essential experience:
- Significant finance experience within a manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of production processes and cost drivers.
- Proven experience managing and analysing Goods Sold (GOGS), inventory valuation, stock movements, and related balance sheet controls.

What you will bring:
- A degree in Commerce, Finance, or a related discipline, with CA or CPA qualifications.
- Extensive finance experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven commercial acumen, with strengths in financial planning, analysis, and business partnering.
- Experience working in complex or capital-intensive environments; manufacturing experience is a bonus.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams in a collaborative, cross-functional setting.
- A strategic mindset with the confidence to influence decisions and drive change at senior levels.
- A solid understanding of corporate governance, financial control frameworks, and risk management practices.
- Excellent problem-solving, planning, and organisational skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing costing, inventory accounting, and month-end reporting processes.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA (or SAP HANA) is highly desirable, including reporting, financial analysis, and operational finance support.
