Perks People Solutions is engaging with a well-established, highly regarded family business that has a significant history of success within the South Australian market. We are seeking a Finance Manager to join their established team, based in the south/east of Adelaide. This role presents a valuable opportunity to contribute significantly and lead the finance function within a dynamic business setting.

The Role Reporting to the Financial Controller, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Leading the month-end close process, ensuring the accurate and timely completion of journals, accruals, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Preparing monthly financial statements, including Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss reports, supported by meaningful analysis and insights.
• Overseeing cash flow forecasting and treasury management to support effective business decision-making.
• Contributing to the annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning process.
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance financial processes, controls, and overall team performance.
• Mentoring, supporting, and developing the accounts and administration team through day-to-day leadership and coaching.
• Providing broad finance support and contributing to key projects and business initiatives as required.

About You

• Fully qualified CA or CPA professional, supported by relevant tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Commerce, Finance, or a related discipline.
• An excellent opportunity for an ambitious Senior Accountant ready to step into their first Finance Manager role, or an experienced Finance Manager seeking a new challenge.
• Demonstrated experience within a commercial or industry-based environment is essential, ideally gained within a medium-sized organisation.
• Strong technical accounting expertise with a proven track record of delivering high-quality financial reporting, compliance, and finance operations.
• Well-developed understanding of contemporary accounting standards, financial controls, and best-practice finance processes.
• A proactive and hands-on approach, with the ability to manage diverse finance responsibilities while partnering effectively with stakeholders across the business.
