The Opportunity
As Finance Manager, you will be instrumental in partnering with the business to enhance financial performance and support strategic decision-making. Your role will involve providing insightful analysis, leading planning and forecasting processes, and influencing commercial outcomes across the organisation. By collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will identify opportunities to boost profitability, ensure robust financial governance, and contribute to achieving business growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the business to deliver financial insights and decision support aligned with strategic goals.
- Contribute to business performance through analysis, reporting, and the provision of actionable insights related to sales, margin, and pricing.
- Identify performance shortfalls and spearhead improvement initiatives, including tracking associated benefits and outcomes.
- Collaborate across functions to support commercial decision-making and optimise business results.
- Support pricing strategy, integrated business planning (IBP) forecasting, and ensure accuracy in budgets and financial forecasts.
- Maintain strong financial governance, risk management, and foster a "no surprises" performance environment.
- Oversee capital expenditure, working capital, and drive continuous improvement of systems and processes.
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders across sales, operations, finance, and shared services teams.
- Operate within a financial scope encompassing approximately $124 million in revenue and $23 million in EBITDA.
What You Will Bring
- CA or CPA qualification with a minimum of 5 years of leadership experience.
- Strong business partnering capabilities with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders.
- Highly analytical with the capacity to transform data into actionable insights.
- Advanced Excel proficiency, with preferred experience in SAP or similar systems.
- Experience in manufacturing, building, or construction industries is advantageous.
- A collaborative, solutions-focused, and commercially astute approach.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to manage risk and think strategically.
