Financial Accountant - ASX Listed Group - Sydney Olympic Park

Perigon Group Pty Limited is seeking a Financial Accountant for a prominent ASX listed group. This role offers a broad scope within a finance team of approximately 20 individuals, providing significant support while fostering close partnerships with the Finance Manager and CFO. Experience within a company of this standing is considered an excellent foundation for future career progression.

The position is based in Sydney Olympic Park, with on-site parking available. The role is full-time, with a salary of $110-120K plus superannuation. The work type is full-time, and the position is remote.

Role Responsibilities:

• Financial and board reporting.
• Preparation of technical accounting papers and memos.
• Active participation in half and year-end audit processes.
• Preparation of monthly management accounts.
• Balance sheet reconciliations and supporting documentation.
• Review of the completeness and accuracy of the fixed asset register.
• Contribution to the preparation of financial statements.
• Completion of statutory audits.
• ABS surveys.
• Collaboration with the wider finance team.
• Analysis and recommendation of improvements.
• GST/BAS completion and lodgement.

Candidate Profile:

• Four years of experience within a Big 4 or mid-tier firm, or equivalent commercial experience.
• Audit training is desired.
• CA/CPA qualified, or nearing completion.
