TJX Australia (TK Maxx) Pty Ltd is seeking a Financial Analyst to join their team in Mascot. This is a full-time, onsite position.

This role will provide end-to-end support for sales reporting, forecasting, and P&L planning throughout Australia. Reporting to the Finance Manager – BP&A, the Financial Analyst will deliver timely insights into sales performance, key performance indicators (KPIs), and profitability. This involves partnering with Merchandising, Marketing, and Store Operations teams to achieve commercial objectives. This presents a valuable opportunity for an FP&A or Financial Analyst aiming to expand their experience in retail analytics, long-range planning, and engagement with senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Forecasting & Planning
• Own monthly sales forecasts at both store and daily levels.
• Support long-range planning spanning 1 to 10 years.
• Build and enhance financial models, incorporating scenario and sensitivity analysis.
• Reporting & Insights
• Lead daily, weekly, and monthly sales reporting.
• Analyse performance across sales, gift cards, and new stores.
• Deliver clear insights to inform trading decisions.
• P&L & Corporate Reporting
• Manage full P&L consolidation and reporting.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Perform variance analysis and present findings to stakeholders.
• Business Partnering
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Merchandising departments.
• Provide commercial insights and challenge assumptions.
• Support business cases and sales initiatives.
• Systems & Process Improvement
• Optimise systems such as Oracle and Cloudbridge.
• Improve reporting automation and data integrity.
• Support the development of Power BI dashboards.

About You:

• Possess a Master's degree or relevant certification, and be CPA/CFA part or fully qualified.
• Have experience in FP&A, commercial finance, or financial analysis.
• Demonstrate strong P&L, forecasting, and reporting capabilities.
• Experience in retail or FMCG is highly regarded.
• Possess excellent stakeholder engagement and business partnering skills.

Technical Skills:

• Advanced Excel.
• Experience with ERP/planning systems (Oracle, Hyperion, TM1).
• Power BI or similar tools are desirable.
