Financial Control and Reporting Manager Lanson Partners Sydney NSW Up to $160,000 + super Full-time, onsite

Lanson Partners is a rapidly expanding technology firm undergoing a significant growth phase. We are seeking a precise and detail-oriented Financial Control & Reporting Manager to advance our financial governance and reporting capabilities, and to optimise our recently implemented ERP system. This is a key position for an individual who excels in dynamic environments and enjoys establishing leading finance processes from inception.

Responsibilities:

• Assume ownership and refine the company’s financial control framework.
• Guarantee accuracy, compliance, and integrity throughout all financial operations.
• Reinforce month-end close procedures and internal controls in line with business expansion.
• Manage the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Provide clear, insightful analysis to senior management.
• Assist with statutory reporting and audit procedures.
• Serve as the finance representative for optimising our new NetSuite ERP and general ledger.
• Offer advice on accounting treatment for new transactions, contracts, and business activities.
• Support the creation of accounting policies and related documentation.

Requirements:

• CA/CPA qualification or equivalent.
• Substantial experience in financial control, reporting, or technical accounting.
• Experience within a high-growth technology company, or a start-up/scale-up environment is highly regarded.
• Familiarity with NetSuite or another cloud-based ERP system (NetSuite experience is highly valued).
• A mindset focused on process improvement, with the capacity to establish structure in a rapidly evolving setting.
• Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Comfortable collaborating across departments and communicating with senior stakeholders.
