Financial Planning & Analysis Coordinator
LG Talent is seeking an individual for a full-time, onsite Financial Planning & Analysis Coordinator role in Mount Gambier. This position offers a salary of $113,124 – $120,554 per annum plus 13% Super & RDO.

About the Role
Reporting to the Manager Financial Services, this is a leadership position within the Financial Services team. The role is responsible for providing strategic financial insight and leading a small team. A key function is strengthening financial capability across Council by partnering with leaders and influencing decision-making.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and supporting a small team in delivering high-quality financial services.
- Providing budget analysis and reporting, statutory accounting, system improvement, reporting, and cost analysis.
- Partnering with organisational stakeholders to understand financial and operational drivers.
- Offering trusted advice to support effective decision-making.
- Managing asset accounting and insurance processes to ensure accuracy and mitigate risks.
- Contributing to long-term financial planning, driving continuous improvement, and administering financial systems.
About You
The ideal candidate is a collaborative and capable finance professional who balances technical work with people leadership.
You will possess:
- Tertiary qualifications in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- CPA, CA, or CIMA membership, or be working towards it.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Experience supporting or leading teams, or readiness to step into a leadership role.
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
- Alignment with a value-based work environment.
