General Manager - Finance
Mulpha Australia Limited is seeking a General Manager - Finance for a permanent, full-time role based in Sydney NSW. This position requires attendance onsite five days a week.

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this role is responsible for leading Group Finance and FP&A functions across Australia and Malaysia. The General Manager - Finance will partner with the Executive Leadership Team to advance strategy, performance, and finance transformation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Spearhead the transformation of Group Finance and FP&A into a modern, efficient, and value-adding function.
- Drive automation within reporting, forecasting, planning, and consolidation processes.
- Utilise technology, data analytics, and AI to improve insight, efficiency, and decision-making.
- Enhance governance, controls, and financial processes across the Group.
- Manage Group budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and performance reporting.
- Provide commercial insights and recommendations to executive leaders and directors.
- Develop scenario modelling to support decisions related to investment, acquisition, divestment, and capital allocation.
- Oversee Group consolidation, statutory reporting, and external audit requirements.
- Offer technical accounting leadership and support financial governance, including sustainability and climate reporting.
- Lead, develop, and build capability within finance teams in Australia and Malaysia.
Your Background:
- Possession of a CA, CPA, or equivalent qualification.
- A minimum of 10 years of post-qualified experience.
- Exposure to real estate, hospitality, investment, or asset-intensive industries will be highly regarded.
- Experience leading large finance teams and developing future leaders.
- Demonstrated success in delivering finance transformation, automation, and systems improvement initiatives.
- Deep FP&A capability, encompassing forecasting, planning, modelling, and capital allocation.
- Strong experience in group consolidation, statutory reporting, and financial governance.
- Experience leveraging data, analytics, and emerging AI capabilities within finance.
- Multi-jurisdiction or international finance experience.
