About the Project: The Jansz-Io field, a component of the Greater Gorgon Development, is situated 130 kilometres off the west coast of Barrow Island, Western Australia. This field is linked to a gas processing facility on Barrow Island via subsea and cross-island pipelines and umbilicals. The field is located at a water depth of 1,350 metres. The offshore development for the Jansz-Io project involves the installation of a subsea compression facility, powered by a high-voltage submarine cable extending from Barrow Island to a floating field control platform. Medium-voltage power umbilicals connect the floating control platform to a subsea compression station. The subsea compression station receives produced gas from the existing Jansz subsea system through subsea spools and a subsea compression manifold. The compressed gas is then discharged into the existing pipeline for transfer to Barrow Island. Saipem Australia has been awarded the Offshore Installation Contract by Chevron Australia for the transportation and installation activities associated with the Jansz Io development.

Purpose of the Position: As a Graduate Engineer, you will be integrated into the Jansz-IO project team.

How you can support us:

• Monitor construction and installation progress to ensure acceptable quality of vessel operations.
• Ensure the application of Project Engineering principles in construction activities, specifically verifying that onshore and offshore work is prepared and executed according to procedures, and liaising with the Project team on technical project requirements.
• Perform all feasible technical verifications in the field.
• Participate in the preparation or review of installation procedures, drawings, and Lift Plans.
• Provide additional Engineering support to the Project as required and when needed in offices (e.g., performing methods of installation, maintenance methods).
• Prepare and issue electronic daily progress reports, using them to monitor and record actual versus planned activities.
• Assist in planning operational schedule changes due to weather, breakdowns, or operational needs in the most efficient manner.
• Coordinate and support the preparation, execution, and completion of project checklists, ensuring thorough documentation and compliance across all project phases.
• Verify sub-contractor performance and assess their operational performance.
• Liaise with project personnel on board to ensure smooth job preparation and field operations.
• Provide a technical interface between construction and marine personnel on the vessel and Project(s) during execution phases.
• Perform supervision of yard activities for offshore construction.
• Liaise with asset management for the contract monitoring of assets.
• Maintain records of operational performance of vessels and equipment.
• Maintain the vessel project history file.
• Prepare or participate in the completion of feedback reporting (Productivity Reports, lessons learned, offshore debriefs, end-of-project reporting).

• Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
• Background: Graduate to 4 years of experience.
• Technical Knowledge: Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the project, both internally and externally.
• Skills: Team player, hands-on approach.
