Graduate Mechanical Engineer
DBS Group Management Pty Ltd is seeking a Graduate Mechanical Engineer for a full-time, hybrid role based in Sydney NSW. The salary offered is $80 – $85 per year.

This role reports to the Associate of Mechanical and is situated in our contemporary Sydney CBD office. As a member of our Mechanical team, you will contribute to mechanical services throughout the project lifecycle, encompassing calculations, design, and documentation, to deliver well-coordinated, client-focused, and technical solutions. You will collaborate with Directors and Senior Leadership, who are dedicated to employee development.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver efficient solutions and designs aligned with client budgets and expectations.
- Collaborate with other disciplines to coordinate and produce efficient, buildable designs.
- Utilise a proactive and highly developed approach to cultivate and maintain relationships with designers, builders, and other consultants.
- Contribute to significant workplace and commercial projects across Australia.
Requirements:
- Relevant qualifications in Mechanical Engineering.
- A relevant technical qualification (Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent).
- Understanding of construction industry project phases and delivery methods.
- Two or more years of experience delivering projects through the project lifecycle within a professional engineering consultancy or equivalent.
- Experience in commercial and/or workplace fitout is essential.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- A proactive approach to projects with a can-do attitude.
- Experience with heat load calculations for workplace fit out.
- Previous use of Camel heat load software or willingness to learn.
- A desire for continued professional growth.

- Problem-solving skills and ethical judgment.
- Commercial and/or workplace fitout experience is desirable.
