This well-established business, with a significant ANZ presence across consumer and industrial markets, seeks a Head of Finance. The ideal candidate will possess a strong aptitude for both financial analysis and interpersonal leadership, as both are critical to this position.

The Head of Finance will oversee the Finance function for Australia and New Zealand. This senior leadership role involves close collaboration with the country leadership team. Responsibilities encompass financial control, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), commercial finance, and driving an ongoing transformation agenda. The ability to manage these diverse areas effectively and maintain composure under pressure is essential. This position offers a substantial opportunity to influence regional financial operations, build lasting relationships, and establish trust within the business.

What We’re Looking For

• Demonstrated experience in both Financial Control and FP&A/Commercial Finance, beyond a superficial understanding of one area.
• A natural leader who commands team respect through actions rather than title. This includes providing clear direction, coaching, and demonstrating rapid comprehension.
• The ability to quickly form informed opinions in a dynamic business environment, requiring minimal context setting.
• A composed demeanour, capable of de-escalating pressure when the business is challenged.
• Experience within consumer goods, FMCG, distribution, or similar product-driven sectors is an advantage. Some exposure is preferred.
