TLC First Support Services Hobart TAS Full-time, Onsite

We are seeking an experienced and motivated House Manager to guide our SIL homes, foster a high-achieving team, and achieve outstanding results for the individuals we support.

About the Role This is a leadership position involving the oversight of the daily operations of a Supported Independent Living home. You will focus on building a positive team culture and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centred supports. Your responsibilities will encompass operational excellence, staff leadership, participant outcomes, compliance, and continuous improvement.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Disability Support Workers.
  • Manage the daily operations of a SIL home.
  • Ensure participants receive safe, person-centred, high-quality supports.
  • Oversee rostering, staffing, and workforce planning.
  • Monitor participant goals, wellbeing, and quality outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and NDIS compliance.
  • Manage incidents, risks, and safeguarding responsibilities.
  • Build strong relationships with participants, families, allied health professionals, and key stakeholders.
  • Drive a positive workplace culture centred on accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

What You'll Bring

  • Experience leading teams within Disability Services or Supported Independent Living (SIL).
  • A strong understanding of the NDIS Practice Standards and Quality & Safeguards Framework.
  • Demonstrated leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience managing rosters, performance, and compliance.
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check.
  • Current Working with Children Check (where applicable).
  • Current First Aid & CPR Certificate.
  • Current Australian Driver Licence.
  • Full Australian working rights.

Desirable

  • Certificate IV or Diploma in Community Services, Disability, Leadership, or a related field.
  • Experience supporting participants with complex behaviours, psychosocial disability, or high-intensity supports.
  • Experience using electronic care management systems.
