Job Title: Registered Nurse Company: Care Live Smile Location: Maroubra Work Type: Casual Work Setting: Onsite

Care Live Smile is seeking a Registered Nurse to join its Allied Health department. This casual, onsite role is based in Maroubra, with flexible working arrangements for home visits across East and South Sydney. The Registered Nurse will report to the Clinical Lead and engage with providers, their staff, clients, and client care teams.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a practising Registered Nurse.
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Ability to travel within the Sydney metro area.

Additional Requirements for Transport Services:

  • Own car.
  • Car Registration.
  • Comprehensive car insurance with the worker’s name listed as the main driver or insured driver.
  • NSW full driver’s licence.

Position Overview:

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to contribute to our allied health team. This role involves delivering high-quality nursing services, developing individualised care plans, and supporting the growth of our allied health services. The overall purpose is to provide exceptional nursing services, aid in the development of our allied health service, and uphold the highest standards of care and professional practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering Services as a Practitioner:
  • Provide high-quality nursing services to clients in their homes.
  • Develop and implement individualised care plans focused on wellness and reablement.
  • Conduct regular assessments and adjust care plans as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
  • Work closely with the Clinical Lead and other allied health professionals.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and other healthcare providers.
  • Participate in team meetings and case conferences.
  • Professional Development:
  • Commit to ongoing professional development and staying updated with the latest nursing practices.
  • Participate in training and development activities provided by Care.Live.Smile.
  • Compliance and Quality Assurance:
  • Ensure compliance with professional standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in clinical practices and service delivery.
  • Support and Supervision:
  • Provide support and guidance to junior nurses and allied health staff as needed.
  • Participate in clinical supervision sessions and performance reviews.
