Ocius is seeking an Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Engineer for a full-time, onsite position in Alexandria.

Ocius Technology is an Australian enterprise focused on creating and implementing advanced Uncrewed Surface Vehicles (USVs). Our vessels leverage wind, solar, and wave energy for extended maritime data collection, serving Defence and civilian sectors. We hold contracts with the Royal Australian Navy, Royal New Zealand Navy, and the United States, and are agilely progressing an ambitious plan to construct and deploy numerous USVs for operations domestically and internationally.

About the Role

The ILS Engineer will be responsible for ensuring Ocius delivers a dependable and capable fleet of Bluebottles to our customers as the platform enters service. This role will guarantee customers receive continuous technical assistance, training, necessary supplies, and product support, thereby enabling Ocius to meet its obligations and customers to fully leverage the Bluebottle's capabilities.

A typical day involves:

  • Liaising with Defence customers to confirm deliverables are met and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Contributing to long-term sustainment strategies for supply chains and managing obsolescence risks.
  • Evaluating the implications of proposed configuration and engineering modifications on the fleet.

Selection Criteria

  • Experience in Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) or Logistics Engineering within Defence or complex asset environments.
  • Working knowledge of key ILS elements, including Maintenance Planning, Supply Support, Support & Test Equipment, Technical Data, and Training.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in interpreting reliability, maintenance, and operational performance data.
  • Demonstrated capacity to develop, manage, and review technical documentation and ILS artefacts to a high standard.
  • Ability to engage effectively across different functions within structured program environments.

If you are an experienced ILS or IPS Engineer with strong communication skills and an understanding of Defence projects, we encourage you to apply.
