D & L Partners is a dynamic and expanding accounting firm situated in Sydney's Inner West. We deliver high-quality tax, accounting, and advisory services to a varied clientele. Due to ongoing expansion, we are seeking a motivated Intermediate Business Services Accountant to become part of our team.

This role presents a significant opportunity for an individual with 2–3 years of experience in public practice, aiming to enhance technical proficiencies and advance their career within a supportive setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation of financial statements and income tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts, and partnerships.
• Completion of BAS, IAS, and other compliance obligations.
• Assistance with tax planning, advisory tasks, and monthly management reports.
• Client communication, addressing queries promptly.
• Collaboration with senior accountants and partners on client engagements.
• Liaison with the ATO.

About You:

• 2–3 years of experience within a public practice accounting firm.
• A strong grasp of Australian tax and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, and QuickBooks.
• Keen attention to detail and effective time management skills.
• A proactive approach with a willingness to learn and develop.
