Profusion PAC Pty Ltd is seeking an Intermediate or Senior Auditor to join its expanding team in Parramatta. This well-established chartered accounting and advisory firm has a strong reputation for delivering quality audit and advisory services to a varied client base, including privately owned businesses, not-for-profit organisations, SMEs, and family groups. The Role
This position involves working closely with Managers and Partners, taking responsibility for audit engagements from initiation to conclusion. You will mentor junior team members and cultivate robust client relationships. The role provides significant client interaction, exposure to diverse industries, and a defined path towards Assistant Manager and further advancement. The firm is considering candidates who are either strong intermediates or already at a senior level.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead audit engagements from planning through to completion.
- Prepare and review audit workpapers in accordance with Australian Auditing Standards.
- Identify key audit risks and develop suitable audit strategies.
- Prepare financial statements and management reports.
- Engage directly with clients, building trusted and enduring relationships.
- Supervise, coach, and review the work of junior auditors after a period.
- Support Managers and Partners with engagement planning, budgeting, and workflow management.
- Ensure engagements are concluded within agreed budgets and timelines.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and audit quality processes.
About You
- CA or CPA qualified, or nearing completion.
- Approximately 2-6 years of external audit experience within public practice.
- Strong understanding of Australian Auditing Standards and financial reporting requirements.
- Experience leading audit fieldwork and managing client relationships.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- A proactive approach with a genuine interest in ongoing professional development.
