Tess Search Partners is seeking a Junior Accountant on behalf of Hames Sharley to join their expanding finance team in Adelaide, SA. This full-time, onsite position offers a significant opportunity for a driven accounting professional to advance their career within a prominent Australian architecture and design firm.

The role provides extensive exposure to financial reporting, payroll, project accounting, and accounts payable/receivable, working collaboratively with an experienced finance team dedicated to your professional growth. This position involves supporting the daily financial operations of a national enterprise, offering diverse responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting with month-end reporting.
• Performing reconciliations.
• Processing payroll.
• Contributing to project financial reporting.
• Managing accounts payable and receivable.
• Assisting with debt collection.
• Supporting cash flow management.
• Handling intercompany transactions.
• Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives to streamline finance processes.
• Supporting accurate reporting for business leaders.

Requirements:

• Degree qualification in accounting.
• Approximately one to two years of experience, or relevant internship experience.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience with accounting software such as MYOB, Xero, or similar.
• Sound Excel skills.
