Bellingham Marine is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Draftsperson to join our team in Seventeen Mile Rocks. This is an entry-level position, offering a strong opportunity for individuals keen to learn and develop technical drafting and design skills within a supportive setting.

You will collaborate with senior designers, engineers, and project managers to generate precise drawings and documentation for various projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of technical drawings, layouts, and plans utilising CAD software.
• Revise and update drawings in response to feedback and project specifications.
• Maintain drawing registers and ensure documentation accuracy.
• Provide administrative and technical support to the design team.
• Ensure all drawings adhere to relevant standards and specifications.

About You:

• Possess a Certificate, Diploma, or be currently studying in Drafting, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Have basic knowledge of AutoCAD or comparable CAD software.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Exhibit good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Show an eagerness to learn and advance in a technical field.
• Possess the ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
