Keith Engineering Australia Pty Ltd, a long-established, family-owned Australian manufacturer, specialises in the design, manufacture, and installation of processing equipment for the red and white meat industry. We are seeking a qualified Engineer with a completed University Degree or TAFE Diploma to join our specialised engineering company. The successful applicant will work alongside our young and dynamic engineering and drafting team. This role offers the opportunity to establish yourself within an expanding modern company, with strong encouragement and prospects for growth.

Job Information:

• 40 Hour Week, Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:45
• Salary position

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Assist engineering and drafting teams by modernising existing processes with drawings and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Assist in the equipment reconditioning evaluation and quoting process.
• Read and interpret design drawings and specifications.
• Conduct quality assurance checks on manufacturing drawings.
• Undertake project costing and quoting for customers.
• Provide spare parts and stock item quoting.

Selection Criteria:

• Knowledge and understanding of reading and interpreting drawings and specifications.
• Ability to problem solve and multi-task.
• High attention to detail.
• Strong organisational skills.
• Self-motivated.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong sense of teamwork.
• Good understanding of CAD software.
• Good understanding and operating ability of Microsoft Office.
• Permanent Residency and full-time working rights in Australia.
