Calvary Administration Pty Limited is seeking an enthusiastic Leisure & Activities Officer to join a friendly and close-knit team at Calvary Elanora in Brighton, VIC. This is a permanent, part-time, onsite role.

About the Role This position operates within an integrated team, working within an established and agreed framework to support residents in living their best lives.

Key responsibilities include:

• Respecting each resident's individual character, personality, and right to independence to foster an enjoyable, healthy, and productive lifestyle.
• Developing formal and informal activity programs designed to enhance and maintain residents' quality of life.
• Providing social and recreational programs tailored to meet the needs of the residents.

About You Candidates should possess:

• A Certificate IV in Leisure & Lifestyle or another relevant qualification.
• A current First Aid Certificate.
• Effective interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience in planning, implementing, and evaluating activities and programs for frail individuals with cognitive impairment and other disabilities.
• The ability to document assessments, care plans, and progress notes to comply with legislative, funding, and quality improvement requirements.
• The capacity to work with and communicate effectively with people of all ages and cognitive abilities, gaining their trust and cooperation.
• A desire to join a mission-based organisation committed to the care of others.
