Catholic Healthcare is experiencing growth and invites applications for a Lifestyle Coordinator at Villa Maria Eastern Heights. This position requires a welcoming, organised, and imaginative individual to develop and implement person-centred lifestyle and engagement activities. The role focuses on reflecting residents’ interests, preferences, and life histories, ensuring practices are safe, inclusive, and resident-focused.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and deliver lifestyle programs and activities designed to foster resident wellbeing and engagement.
• Undertake lifestyle assessments, contribute to care plans, and maintain precise documentation and records.
• Cultivate robust relationships with residents, families, colleagues, and external parties, including entertainers, suppliers, and volunteers.
• Champion resident choice and uphold residents’ values, customs, preferences, and spiritual beliefs.
• Conduct assessments of the environment and activities for risks, ensuring all activities comply with Work Health and Safety (WHS) requirements.

Requirements:

• Certificate IV in Leisure & Health or a comparable qualification.
• Experience in a residential aged care setting or a similar environment.
• A warm, empathetic communication style with the confidence to engage diverse individuals.
• Proficient time management, organisational, and prioritisation abilities.
• A commitment to safety, quality standards, and ongoing improvement.
