UGL is seeking a Maintenance Planner & Scheduler to ensure the ongoing reliability and operational status of fuel infrastructure supporting the Australian Defence Force. This is a secure, long-term position focused on critical assets across Army, Air Force, and Navy sites.
The role involves promoting a proactive maintenance approach for Defence fuel installations, including tanks, pipelines, pumps, and associated infrastructure. A background in mechanical or electrical fields is beneficial, enabling understanding of technical information and translation of site needs into practical maintenance plans.
Responsibilities will include managing work orders, preventative maintenance, and asset data within SAP. You will also monitor performance and identify opportunities for improving reliability and efficiency across the contract, making this role ideal for a tech-savvy individual proficient in SAP.
Requirements:
- Trade qualification in a mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, or related discipline is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in roles such as Leading Hand, Senior Technician, Supervisor, Planner, or a similar maintenance position.
- While training and development in SAP Planning and Scheduling systems will be provided, prior experience with SAP as a CMMS is highly preferred.
