Management Accountant
Charterhouse is seeking a Management Accountant for a full-time, onsite position in Kalbar. Our client is a prominent, rapidly expanding manufacturer recognised for its commitment to quality and operational efficiency. This role is ideal for a technically proficient accountant with a commercial focus who thrives on collaborating with operations and influencing business outcomes within a vibrant manufacturing setting.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be instrumental in financial reporting, analysis, and supporting daily financial activities throughout the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of monthly financial statements, encompassing profit and loss, balance sheet, and supplementary reports.
- Analysis of financial performance, delivering clear insights and recommendations to management.
- Support for budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Leadership of internal audit and compliance initiatives across the company.
- Supervision of bookkeeping and payroll functions.
- Review and enhancement of financial systems and processes.
- Interpretation of financial data into actionable insights for non-financial stakeholders.
- Provision of support and guidance to a small finance team, assisting as needed to maintain operational continuity.
Requirements:
- A degree in Accounting, with a completed or in-progress CPA qualification.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a Senior Accountant or comparable position.
- Proficiency in technical accounting and financial reporting.
- Experience within a manufacturing or complex operational environment is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, with the capacity to engage effectively with non-financial stakeholders.
- High level of attention to detail and robust organisational skills.
- Proven ability to support or supervise team members.
- A professional demeanour and approach.
