Job Description

Fulton Hogan Australia Pty Limited is seeking a Management Accountant for a full-time, onsite role at Mile End South. This position reports to the Finance Manager and involves supporting the business in preparing monthly and annual management reports across manufacturing, major projects, and annuity maintenance services. Responsibilities:

  • Annual budgeting, business planning, and strategy reporting through collaboration with key internal stakeholders.
  • Preparation of monthly financial reporting packs, including month-end processing, reconciliation, and P&L variance analysis.
  • Reporting and analysis of large-scale projects, requiring strategic assessment of financial risks and control measures.
  • Monthly P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cashflow forecasting.
  • Implementation of business systems, processes, and analysis reporting to optimise business performance.
  • Ensuring adherence to internal processes and statutory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Relevant Tertiary Qualifications in Accounting or Finance, including CA/CPA (or equivalent) qualification, or currently working towards one.
  • Well-developed knowledge of finance activities within the construction, infrastructure, or engineering industry sectors.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and an attitude to develop and make a positive impact.
  • Ability to build strong partnerships across the business and engage with a range of stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Strong Excel skills and attention to detail.
