Manager Finance Business Partnering Department of Health - Queensland Ipswich
This full-time, onsite role at Ipswich involves leading financial performance and accountability through strategic partnering across West Moreton Health.
The position offers financial stewardship, expert advice, and business analysis concerning finance, service costing, system development, and funding models. It also entails leading high-level strategic financial management and commercial support, including negotiating, managing, and maintaining budgetary, activity, and financial plans to maximise service delivery within approved funding.

What is sought: Candidates should demonstrate the following:
- Experience as a management accountant with extensive expertise in annual budgeting, contemporary financial reporting, and forecasting. A thorough understanding of financing, cost and revenue structures, cost and revenue drivers, and their interrelationships is required.
- Demonstrated ability to lead the provision of strategic and operational financial services, adopting a business partnering approach. Experience with management accounting concepts, practices, and strategies, as well as financial management legislation, policies, and procedures, is needed.
- Well-developed interpersonal skills, including communication, negotiation, and consultation within multidisciplinary workplaces. The ability to understand and communicate complex financial concepts and information to clinical and non-clinical stakeholders, including senior management, is essential.
- Expertise in information management technology and financial systems, coupled with experience in researching, reviewing, interpreting, and analysing information. The ability to formulate recommendations and reports for senior management within large, complex organisations is required.
- Experienced leadership commitment to developing a high-performing team through inspired leadership and managing staff in line with contemporary human resource management policies, procedures, and practices.
