Manager, Business Advisory
Findex is seeking a full-time Manager to join its Business Advisory team in Adelaide SA. This is an onsite position with excellent benefits on offer.
This role involves overseeing a portfolio of complex client engagements, leading a team of Junior Accountants, and fostering a high-performance culture that balances compliance with exceptional client service.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review complex financial statements, tax returns, special purpose reports, and reconciliations for companies, trusts, partnerships, and individuals.
- Collaborate closely with Partners to lead, delegate, and coordinate team activities, ensuring the right tasks are assigned to the appropriate individuals, reviewing outputs, and managing timelines and budgets.
- Proactively manage client relationships, understanding their needs and identifying opportunities.
- Coach, mentor, and develop team members, demonstrating day-to-day leadership by example.
- Maintain technical knowledge of all statutory and regulatory requirements, ensuring work papers and client files adhere to Findex compliance standards.
Requirements:
- A CA, CPA, or equivalent qualification, along with a relevant degree. This is a non-negotiable requirement for this role.
- A minimum of 5 years of accounting experience within a public practice environment, including exposure to complex entity structures.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team, taking pride in the professional growth of those around you in addition to your own work quality.
- Strong commercial acumen and exceptional attention to detail, enabling the translation of technical information into clear, practical guidance for clients.
- A diplomatic and proactive approach to building trust with clients and colleagues, representing the firm professionally in all interactions.
