Minda Incorporated is seeking an experienced leader to manage a portfolio of residential homes, foster high-performing teams, and ensure South Australians living with intellectual disability receive optimal support. About the Role

The Manager, Home and Living Supports will provide operational and people leadership across a cluster of residential homes. This role is responsible for ensuring high-quality, person-centred services that enable clients to achieve their goals and aspirations.

  • Compliance
  • Stakeholder relationships
  • Financial performance
  • Continuous improvement initiatives

You will collaborate closely with clients, families, guardians, support coordinators, and internal teams to ensure services meet individual needs while adhering to NDIS Practice Standards and organisational requirements. This is a visible and hands-on leadership position. You will support teams within client homes, mentor staff, drive quality outcomes, and cultivate a culture of accountability, inclusion, and excellence.

What We're Looking For

  • An experienced people leader from the disability, community services, health, aged care, or human services sectors.
  • A leader who prioritises clients in decision-making and service delivery.
  • Strong capability in managing teams, performance, workforce planning, and change.
  • Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships with clients, families, guardians, and key stakeholders.
  • A sound understanding of NDIS funding, Practice Standards, Code of Conduct, and contemporary disability support practices.
  • Experience managing operational performance, budgets, compliance, and service improvement initiatives.
  • A collaborative leader who role models Minda's values of Respect, Heart, Opportunity, and Community.

Your Skills and Qualifications

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Disability, Health, Human Services, Nursing, Community Services, or a related discipline; or significant equivalent industry experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience within disability services, health, aged care, community services, or a related sector.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.
  • Current Unrestricted Driver's Licence.
  • Unrestricted Working Rights in Australia.
  • Formal leadership or management qualifications (desirable).
  • Medication Certificate (already in place or willingness to obtain post-interview via SALC or Learning Simplified – only these providers are accepted, cost is $130).

Your Responsibilities Will Include

  • Leading and developing a team of Deputy Managers and Disability Support Workers committed to making a difference.
  • Ensuring safe, high-quality, and person-centred supports across multiple homes in your portfolio.
  • Managing workforce planning, recruitment, performance, and capability development.
  • Overseeing client onboarding, support planning, service reviews, and quality outcomes.
  • Building positive partnerships with families, guardians, advocates, and key stakeholders.
  • Monitoring compliance, incident management, audits, and service standards.
  • Managing budgets, rosters, and service delivery within funding parameters.
  • Driving continuous improvement and identifying opportunities to enhance client outcomes.
  • Receiving support from shared services in finance, HR, client supports, and IT.
