This Role

We are seeking a Manager or Senior Manager to join our dynamic Corporate Tax team in Sydney. Our team specialises in providing bespoke advice and insights covering all facets of the corporate tax lifecycle. We assist clients in navigating tax challenges specific to their businesses, including tax audits, international tax matters, corporate governance requirements, and mergers and acquisitions, encompassing due diligence and deal structuring. You will have the opportunity to contribute to a rapidly expanding, successful team that is passionate about its work, where your expertise and commitment to high technical standards will be highly valued. Key Responsibilities

As a valued leader within our team, you will apply your expertise in both formal and informal capacities, engaging in a blend of compliance and advisory work to deliver an outstanding client experience.

• Manage client engagements comprehensively, including relationship management, tax compliance, and advisory services.
• Cultivate client relationships and identify avenues for business growth.
• Participate in business development initiatives.
• Contribute to ongoing improvements in tax compliance and process-related activities.
• Provide guidance, support, and leadership to other team members.

Skills and Experience

• A university degree in a relevant field such as Accounting / Finance, Business / Commerce, Legal, or equivalent professional qualification(s).
• Possession of CA / CPA, CTA, or other relevant industry accreditations.
• Demonstrated experience and technical proficiency in corporate tax and advisory, ideally within a public practice setting.
• A proactive approach to client relationship management and cross-selling services, coupled with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
• Previous experience in leading, coaching, and mentoring less experienced team members.
