We are seeking a qualified finance professional to join JLL's Finance team as a Manager/Senior Manager. This role is pivotal in driving financial excellence and acting as a strategic business partner, ensuring robust accounting controls and compliance within our real estate operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead revenue recognition processes across various scenarios, ensuring adherence to accounting standards.
• Manage project costing frameworks and optimise working capital for the business.
• Function as a strategic business partner, providing financial insights and addressing accounting queries.
• Oversee accounts receivable monitoring, including Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) calculations, retention tracking, write-offs, and credit note issuance.
• Maintain an effective control and compliance environment aligned with SOX certification requirements.
• Drive working capital management strategies for the designated business line.
• Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring timely resolution of identified findings.
• Execute account reconciliations, ledger close activities, and balance sheet reconciliations (unbilled, deferred revenue, vendor advances, AP).
• Provide accurate financial data and analysis to support management decision-making.
• Develop and implement new processes for risk analysis and internal controls.
• Share best practices and champion initiatives among REMS finance stakeholders.
• Supervise and mentor a team of 3-5 finance professionals.

Candidate Profile:

• Qualified Chartered Accountant with 8+ years of progressive experience in revenue recognition, project costing, financial reporting, and statutory compliance.
• Prior experience in the real estate or construction industry is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Demonstrated track record managing small teams in a manager or team lead capacity.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and management accounting practices; US MNC experience is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence across all organisational levels, including senior leadership.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and thorough knowledge of accounting principles.
• Process-oriented mindset with a passion for standardisation and consolidation of finance functions.
• Self-starter with a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and a "can do" approach.
• Ability to prioritise and efficiently deliver multiple projects under deadlines.
• Team player who promotes collaborative relationships across diverse, multicultural teams.
• Culturally sensitive with the ability to navigate different nationalities effectively.
