The Role

As a Mechanical BIM Modeller, you will be instrumental in delivering coordinated, high-quality mechanical building services models and documentation for a variety of projects. Working from the Spring Hill office, you will collaborate with the mechanical team and the broader building services group to support project outcomes from concept to construction-ready documentation. This position is well-suited for an individual with solid mechanical building services modelling experience who values precision, collaboration, and problem-solving, and is looking to advance their career within a supportive, high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and coordinate mechanical BIM models using Revit MEP.
• Produce detailed mechanical services documentation, including HVAC layouts, plantroom arrangements, risers, schematics, and equipment schedules.
• Collaborate with electrical, hydraulic, fire, and structural teams to achieve coordinated design outcomes.
• Participate in clash detection, model reviews, and coordination workshops.
• Work within Common Data Environments (CDEs) and established BIM workflows.
• Support project delivery across commercial, residential, health, education, retail, and infrastructure sectors.
• Maintain model accuracy and adherence to project standards and timelines.
• Build strong working relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in mechanical drafting and BIM modelling within building services.
• Strong understanding of mechanical building services systems, including HVAC, ventilation, plant, and associated coordination requirements.
• Proficiency in Revit MEP.
• Experience working within CDEs and established BIM workflows.
• Knowledge of Australian building services documentation practices, BIM standards, and model coordination processes.
• Ability to manage and coordinate mechanical models within multi-disciplinary teams.
• High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering accurate, well-coordinated documentation.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach.

Highly Regarded:

• Experience with AutoCAD, Navisworks, Revizto, or ACC.
