As part of our ongoing expansion, we are seeking a dedicated Mechanical Design Draftsperson to join our office in Bendigo, Victoria. This represents an exciting and challenging opportunity for the right individual.

About the Role:
- Proficiency in CAD programs, particularly AutoCAD (2D), is essential. Experience with Solidworks (3D) is advantageous but not mandatory. These tools will be used to generate equipment models and designs based on provided engineering information, with team support.
- Preparation of detailed drawings to IFC level for equipment manufacture, as required.
- Development of detailed Bills of Materials (BOMs) for procurement and manufacturing.
- Direct liaison with GBI manufacturing and site teams.
- Direct liaison with clients to define project scope and secure projects.
- Undertaking detailed design and layout work.
- Ensuring all completed work adheres to relevant codes and standards.
- Upholding quality, safety, and environmental standards.
- Collaboration with other departments to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Providing support to the project team within your region.
The Successful Applicant Will Have:
- 1-2 years of Design Experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A high level of attention to detail.
- A proactive approach and the ability to work collaboratively within a team and autonomously.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
