JMACX Offroad Solutions is seeking a motivated and skilled Mechanical Draftsman/Drafter to join our expanding team. This presents a distinct chance for an individual who appreciates both technical drafting and practical product development. The chosen candidate will be instrumental in translating concepts into designs ready for production, working in close collaboration with our manufacturing and development operations.

In addition to generating and managing detailed mechanical drawings, you will actively participate in the assembly, testing, and refinement of components throughout the product development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce detailed 3D models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings.
• Develop and maintain product documentation and manage revision control.
• Support the design, development, and enhancement of new and existing products.
• Liaise with production teams to ensure designs are practical and manufacturable.
• Engage in prototype assembly, fitting, and testing.
• Identify and address design and manufacturing challenges during development.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to bring projects from initial concept to production.

Skills & Experience:

To excel in this position, you will possess:

• A Certificate III or higher qualification in Mechanical Drafting, Mechanical Design, or a related discipline.
• Proficiency in CAD software such as Fusion 360, Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks, or comparable programs.
• A robust understanding of mechanical design principles and manufacturing processes.
• The capacity to interpret and create technical drawings and specifications.
• A hands-on, practical approach, with a willingness to assist in product assembly and testing.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities and meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
