SESI Care Services is seeking a casual Mental Health Disability Support Worker to join our team in Narre Warren. This is an onsite role with a salary of $35 – $40 per hour.

Qualifications & Experience: We are looking for a disability support worker with experience in disability and aged care. Experience providing cleaning and domestic assistance services is required.

• Cert III or IV in Disability Services, Mental Health, Home & Community Care or Individual Support will be seen favourably.
• A valid NDIS Workers Screening Check is required.
• First Aid and CPR certification is required.
• A Working With Children Check (WWCC) is required.
• A driver’s licence and own car with comprehensive insurance is a must.
• Fluency in English is a must.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Encouraging client independence.
• Providing in-home supports, including cleaning and assistance with domestic activities.
• Assisting with meals and snack preparation.
• Performing house duties, including laundry and emptying pet litter trays.
• Transporting clients to appointments.
• Facilitating community access.
• Providing social support.
