Location: Toorak and surrounding area Work Type: Casual Pay Rate: $36.81 per hour (in accordance with the 2026 Pay Guide – SCHADS Award [MA000100], Social and Community Services stream, Employee Level 1 Pay Point 3, Casual)

About the Role

As a Personal Care Assistant (PCA) Disability Support Worker, you will deliver client-centred, strength-based, engaging, and holistic support. Your work will empower clients to identify and progress towards their personal goals. Tasks will vary based on individual client needs and may include:

  • Assistance with showering, toileting, and household duties.
  • Cleaning and tidying.
  • Transporting clients to appointments.
  • Identifying client strengths and fostering practical skills through shared activities such as gardening, crafts, and fitness.
  • Supporting clients to build confidence in community engagement.
  • Providing emotional support.
  • Assisting clients with engagement in education, employment, or training.
  • Aiding clients with paperwork and connecting with various community services.
  • Acting as a positive influence through general life support.
  • Discussing well-being and offering emotional support.
  • Providing client transport to facilitate local community access and daily living tasks.

Formal qualifications are not a prerequisite for application; your attitude and values are paramount. We are seeking individuals who demonstrate:

Essential Requirements

  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain).
  • Current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
  • Current First Aid & CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Driver’s licence and a reliable vehicle.
  • Full working rights in Australia.
