This is a significant opportunity for an experienced Operations Manager to guide the successful execution of a varied portfolio of water infrastructure projects while influencing regional growth. As a vital member of the regional leadership team, you will be accountable for driving excellence across multiple project delivery teams, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality benchmarks. You will balance strategic leadership with operational execution, collaborating with Business Development, Estimating, and other functional leaders to secure future work and achieve sustainable business outcomes.

Success in this role extends beyond project delivery. You will be responsible for inspiring and developing high-performing teams, cultivating a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Building robust relationships with customers and stakeholders will be key to identifying new opportunities and ensuring exceptional project results that foster long-term partnerships. You will bring:

  • Extensive relevant industry experience at a senior management level.
  • Degree qualifications in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or a similar discipline).
  • Demonstrated experience in successfully managing multiple, complex infrastructure projects and achieving operational and financial results.
  • Proven ability to lead, develop, and inspire large, high-performing teams, fostering a positive and collaborative culture.
  • Strong commercial acumen, encompassing project financial management, planning, and the capacity to execute strategic operational plans.
  • Exceptional communication, stakeholder engagement, and influencing skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships with customers, teams, and the wider business.
  • Highly developed organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the capacity to manage competing priorities and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
