Boost Your Income

Army Reserve pay is received in full without tax deductions and increases with seniority and experience. Upon completing initial military and employment training, you could earn a package of at least $266 per day tax-free. Additional payments are provided for time spent on exercises and deployments.

Location

Initial training will take place over 3 weeks in Wagga Wagga, NSW. Following training, you will be assigned to an Army unit located near your residence.

Eligibility

To be considered for this role, you must:

• Be at least 17 years of age upon entry into the ADF.
• Have completed Australian Year 10 education (or equivalent) with passes in English and Mathematics.
• Be an Australian citizen. Non-citizens may be eligible under specific criteria; refer to the ADF Careers Eligibility Page for details.
• Be reasonably fit and healthy. A physical fitness test is required prior to enlistment, with preparation guidance provided.
• Be able to successfully obtain a security clearance.
• Possess a bachelor-level degree in accounting, economics, commerce, or business/business management as the minimum entry requirement.
