About the Role We are seeking compassionate and motivated Pathway Carers to join our team throughout Brisbane and Queensland. This role is designed as an entry-level opportunity into aged care, offering hands-on experience, structured learning, and the chance to develop a meaningful, long-term career supporting older Australians.

Working collaboratively with experienced care teams and under the guidance of our clinical team, you will assist residents with their daily care needs, wellbeing, social engagement, and quality of life. This role will help you build the skills and knowledge necessary for a rewarding future in aged care. No prior aged care experience is required; training, support, and a career pathway will be provided through the Opal HealthCare Academy.

What You’ll Do:

• Support residents with daily living tasks in a safe and respectful manner.
• Build genuine relationships and provide meaningful social connection.
• Assist with non-clinical care duties, including meals, laundry, and maintaining the living environment.
• Work alongside experienced care teams in a supportive setting.
• Learn on the job while working towards your Certificate III qualification.

You Will Have:

• The ability to work Monday to Friday on an AM morning shift.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• The ability to follow direction and work reliably.
• The right to work in Australia.
• The ability to complete pre-employment checks, including medical, police, and NDIS clearances.
