We are looking for an experienced Payroll and Finance Officer to join our team. This position is primarily responsible for managing the complete payroll process and HRIS administration, alongside providing support for accounts payable and broader finance tasks. About the Role Reporting to the Finance team, your responsibilities will include:

• Managing the fortnightly end-to-end payroll processing for Australian employees.
• Maintaining payroll and HRIS records, encompassing onboarding, terminations, salary adjustments, and employee data.
• Ensuring adherence to payroll legislation, awards, payroll tax, superannuation, and Fair Work requirements.
• Handling payroll reconciliations, journals, STP finalisation, WorkCover reporting, and statutory obligations.
• Administering salary packaging and novated lease arrangements.
• Coordinating timesheet approvals and resolving payroll inquiries.
• Providing support for accounts payable, accounts receivable, and month-end finance activities.
• Assisting with reporting, audits, and process improvement initiatives.

About You To be successful in this role, you will possess:

• Over 3 years of experience in end-to-end payroll processing.
• Experience with HRIS administration and payroll compliance.
• Over 2 years of experience in accounts payable or a finance support capacity.
• Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, awards, payroll tax, and WorkCover.
• Experience using Kronos and ERP systems (INFOR is desirable).
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent attention to detail, organisational abilities, and the capacity to manage confidential information.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
